Anderson senior Deborah Gardner was named the Female Track Athlete of the Meet at the Indiana Division III Championships held in Greencastle, Ind., Saturday.

Anderson's track teams picked up a pair of fifth place finishes in the Hanover Invitational Saturday.

In its lone home outdoor meet of the season, the Anderson track teams swept the competition, getting first place finishes from both the men's and women's teams at the AU Easter Invitational Thursday.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced winter honorees for the Tom Bohlsen Academic All-HCAC team, Wednesday.

Anderson's women's outdoor track team received one first place vote and a fourth-place ranking in the preseason Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference poll. The poll was voted on by coaches and released by the HCAC today.
